FashionTrade.com welcomes new CEO, Genevieve Kunst.
The team at FashionTrade is pleased to announce that its Board has appointed Genevieve Kunst as the new CEO of FashionTrade.
FashionTrade, a B2B fashion wholesale marketplace is a joint venture between Bestseller United and Zalando, and is committed to the creation of a simple, efficient and intelligent B2B marketplace for the international fashion community. Outgoing CEO, Pernille Geneser, will join the company Board as Chairwoman with immediate effect where she will continue supporting and guiding the team on a strategic level.

Kunst has worked for more than 18 years across Europe in digital and e-commerce. She joins FashionTrade from POPSUGAR, the global media and technology company that delivers inspiring, informative, and entertaining multi-platform content across entertainment, fashion, beauty, fitness, food, parenting, news and more. As the Managing Director of POPSUGAR Europe, Genevieve spent nearly 5 years running its European operations for both its media business and the fashion affiliate ShopStyle, which was acquired by Ebates in February 2017. Prior to this, she was the Director of Supply and Merchandising at Thomas Cook Online and held multiple digital roles at Amazon, including the Head of Business Development, Digital Media, for Amazon Europe, rolling out its Look Inside product and launching Kindle internationally.
Other positions in Europe included roles at T-Mobile, Bertelsmann and the start-up, Vitago. Genevieve began her career in her native U.S. working for Westdeutsche Landesbank and her family’s textile business, Fabri-Quilt. After graduating with an MBA/MA from The Wharton School and The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, she joined A.T. Kearney as a management consultant.
